Employee Phone System Jacksonville University’s telephone system runs on a Siemens HiPath 4050, and it provides phone service to the Residence Halls, Dorms, as well as the Academic and Support offices around campus. JU also provides voicemail to Academic and Support offices, and to residents living in the dorms and apartments. Voicemail services run on Siemens Xpressions 3.0, which allows users to customize their boxes, and access voicemail directly from their room/office, or from off-site. Emergency Phones
Emergency phone calls can be made from any campus phone by dialing 911, or by calling Public Safety at x7585. Phone Number Assignment and Calling Capabilities Residents living in the dorms and apartments have unlimited calls for internal calls, 800 numbers, and local calls.
